ELEAGUE is a revolutionary video gaming competition started in the spring of 2016. The world’s best gamers compete for a title, a share of the large prize pool and a stunning trophy.

The first two seasons were conducted using the game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. For the third season of the competition – the first to use the game Street Fighter instead of CS:GO – a brand new trophy was created.

This impressive award used in the ELEAGUE SFV Competition is unlike any other – from its imposing size, to the unusual smoke-glass panels that flank the central, branded column like armor.

Video games have become less and less of a niche over the last three decades. In particular, the advent of instant, affordable and accessible gaming through mobile has led to mainstream acceptance.

The online streaming service Twitch is largely responsible for the revolutionary concept of watching other people play games as a form of entertainment. This in conjunction with a society that increasingly looks for engagement, set the stage perfectly for this competition.

ELEAGUE is a partnership between Twitch and cable powerhouse Turner Sports. Despite a growing number of “e-sports” competitions, ELEAGUE has the edge with exceptional reach and expertise. The program airs in primetime on TBS and on Twitch – a remarkable investment in this form of entertainment. Everything from the top-notch broadcasters to an immaculate stage and futuristic trophy are clear indications of the potential for e-sports entertainment.
